Description
Produced in Sardinia with a careful selection of whole sheep's milk from selected farms, Giglio Sardo is the best seller of Argiolas cheeses. An exceptional product with an inimitable flavour. The Giglio Sardo is a semi-hard sheep cheese; it has hints of hay, hazelnuts, and cooked milk. A balanced cheese with a medium-long persistence and a pleasant finish.
- It is compact, and lightweight with eyelets with delicate and aromatic scents, but never sharp.
- On the palate it is slightly grainy, sweet and soluble, the flavour is not high but it is still very tasty with the fat content in dry matter of more than 50%.
- Ideal to flavour your favourite dishes with a delicate and inimitable flavour.
- Ewe's milk, rennet, salt, lactic ferments.
- The rind surface is treated with preservatives E.235 and colours E150d, E160b.
- Note: The rind is not edible.
Store in the refrigerator at 2-4°C.
