Description
Fontina is a cheese made with fresh cow milk, according to a centuries-old technique. The maturing is done in natural caves and air-conditioned warehouses at a temperature of 5 - 12°C and at least 90% humidity to give that unmistakable taste to this antipasti favourite.
- Made with raw whole cow’s milk from Aosta Valley heritage herds.
- Soft and buttery, melting texture with a slightly chewy rind.
- Culinary versatility: cheese boards, fondues, gratins, polenta, pasta, and soufflés.
Store in the refrigerator at 2-4°C.
