Caputo Lievito Active Dry Yeast is a traditional Italian-made dry yeast of the yeast species Saccharomyces Cerevisiae, which is the most common type of yeast used for pizza baking, in the Naples region of Italy for hundreds of years. Caputo Lievito Active Dry Yeast is made by growing yeast cells fed with local Italian molasses, which also gives a pleasant taste to the yeast. This yeast works perfectly in combination with the 00 flour type.
