Description

Traditionally grown in coastal areas and along riverbanks on the island of Sardinia, where it thrives due to favourable soil quality and climate conditions. The spinosi artichoke is easily distinguished by its shape and the long sturdy spikes at the top of its purple bracts.
  • Artichokes are starchy-tasting, perennial, edible flower buds that are native to the Mediterranean regions
  • They are packed with antioxidants and are used in many different ways including in salads and for grilling.
