Our story

Frantoio Muraglia was founded in Andria, the oil capital of Puglia, by Savino Muraglia senior, inspired by a majestic 460-year-old Coratina olive tree on the Murgia plateau—an origin rooted in tradition and local heritage. Now led by the fifth generation, the mill upholds its founding values through hand-harvesting, cold pressing in an ancient stone mill, and unwavering dedication to preserving biodiversity and Apulian integrity. Their oils are often monocultivar—crafted from Peranzana or Coratina olives—to deliver distinct, intense or medium fruity profiles, rich in polyphenols and aromatic depth. Packed in beautifully designed handmade ceramic bottles, these oils combine aesthetic allure with functional freshness, reinforcing their gourmet appeal. Exported to over 50 countries, Frantoio Muraglia remains a benchmark for uncompromising quality and Apulian artisanal tradition.
